The program is online. All classes are online in synchronous (classes meet face-to-face online) or asychronous format (no face-to-face meetings). However, per accrediation standards, students will come to campus twice during their time in the program.

Additional requirement for licensure after graduation must be completed. These include passing a licensure exam and completing additional directed experience under supervision. Details will be dicsussed and planned with students.

The CACREP self-study for the CMHC track has been submitted in application for accreditation. The CMHC track is CACREP-like and currently meets the state of Georgia requirements for licensure.

Transfer credit will not be accepted from previous graduate degrees conferred. However, the program may consider transferring up to 6 credit hours of coursework from a CACREP accredited institution when a degree was not conferred.
