Courses offerings: include art history, and art studio courses for all art majors.
- ARTH 3120 or 3123 Special Topics in Art History (“Arts of Poland”)
- ART 4180 Workshop in Art*
- ART 4190 Special Topics in Art Studio* in selected topic:
* Silkscreen and Collography * Lithography Relief print techniques/Intaglio
* Water and Fire – handmade paper workshop * Experimental textile art.
Travel itinerary locations include:
July 11-13 – Warsaw tour: Old Town, Royal Castle tour, Lazienki Royal Gardens, CSW tour, Zacheta Museum.
July 13-15 – Wroclaw tour: Old Town, Old University complex, Centennial Hall, Ostrow Tumski Cathedral Island, museum/gallery tour.
July 15-17 – Cracow tour: Old Town, Wawel castle tour, Bunkier Sztuki and Czartoryski Museum tour.
July 17-30 – Lodz: PATA art workshops at the Art Academy, historical art site tours.
Poland Study Abroad Information & Details:
Information below is a summary for summer study abroad -
Prior to each trip, there will be an informational meeting - Location & Time TBA.
All interested students are invited to attend.
Approximate Cost: $3,500 - plus cost of tuition. This includes airfare, accommodations, lunch meals at the Lodz Academy, supplemental insurance, transportation to and from the Warsaw airport, and field trips. The cost of the program does not include tuition.
Earn up to 6 semester credit hours for courses. (The program cost typically includes round-trip airfare, lodging, trips and other cultural and historic sites, and many museum entrance fees. The cost does not include tuition, some meals, passport and other personal expenses. The Hope Scholarship may be applied to tuition.)
Academic Credit and Financial Aid: Receive credit for ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app courses. Financial aid including the HOPE Scholarship, Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, and institutional scholarships may be applied to study abroad programs. Some special Study Abroad Scholarships may also available for these programs. Contact ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app Center for International Programs for details. New Programs are being developed each year, so check with the Center for International Programs for updates!!!
**The package cost does not include tuition, passport and related expenses. Cost is subject to change in the event of unanticipated increases in airfares or other program elements.
