Tom Hochschild has been a Professor of Sociology at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app for over 10 years. He is the recipient of the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching, as well as the ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app NAACP Outstanding Faculty award. Professor Hochschild has published research on racial and ethnic bullying, as well as racism in news coverage of crime. He is active with his students in Black Lives Matter, Black Voters Matter, and other anti-racism and pro-immigrant social movements.
