Ju-Ying Yang received her M.A. degree in Public Administration and Policy from Florida State University and completed her Ph.D. at the University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). Her dissertation was honored with the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award by Rockefeller College, University at Albany, SUNY. Dr. Yang’s research centers on sustainable energy transitions, including climate resilience, climate and energy policy, and the financial dimensions associated with energy transitions. Her recent research contributions include two papers on local energy transitions, one published in Energy Policy and the other currently under revision and resubmission. In addition to her research, Dr. Yang has extensive teaching experience across diverse settings—in-person, online, and hybrid. Her teaching portfolio includes a range of courses, from an introductory undergraduate course on Public Policy to advanced graduate-level courses such as Public Policy Analysis, Public Personnel Administration, Strategic Management, Intergovernmental Relations, and Global Climate Governance and Energy Policy.
