Dr. Jenny Evans serves as an Assistant Professor of Art Education at ·¬ÇÑÖ±²¥app. Previously, Dr. Evans taught adjunct courses at the University of Texas (Austin) and at Texas State University. Dr. Evans spent time studying at both Purdue University and Temple University before completing her Bachelor's of Art in Art History at and Master's of Arts in Art Education at Arizona State University. She then continued with an additional Master's of Science in Educational Research at Exeter University (UK) and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Argosy University.
Dr. Evans has been published in international journals and teacher training textbooks as well as domestic journals: Schools Arts and Translations. She travels the world to offer presentations on her research in Reflective Visual Journals (Turkey), Hermeneutic Phenomenology (Canada and England), as well as Art meaning Making in Digital Art (Budapest). She also shares her weaving in local galleries as well as in workshops for Art Educators (GAEA, NAEA and local art educators). Dr. Evans has studied abroad (Exeter University and Temple University in Rome) and supports studying abroad with fellow students.
